The CulturalRoad project was prominently featured at CARNET’s 10th Symposium on Urban Mobility Challenges, an event that brought together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to explore innovation in the automotive industry and exchange on the future of sustainable urban mobility. Organised by our partner CARNET, the symposium focused on the introduction of innovation in the mobility domain, for example by means of advancing Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) technologies, such as autonomous vehicles and data-driven public transport.
Dr Margarita Martínez Díaz, from our partner Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), presented the CulturalRoad’s vision to the audience. She highlighted the importance of user-centric designs in mobility solutions and the need to take into account cultural and geographical diversity in the development of CCAM technologies to ensure such innovations are truly beneficial for society and meet actual user needs.
Overall, the event underlined the collaborative spirit within the CulturalRoad consortium and its commitment to driving innovation through a user-centred approach.
