CulturalRoad was thrilled to participate in the CCAM Partnership Multicluster Meeting, held on 10 October in Brussels. The event brought together close to 120 members to discuss future steps to advance Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM). Established in 2021, the CCAM Partnership aims to accelerate innovation, create a safer and more inclusive mobility system, foster the rollout of automation technologies and strengthen Europe’s global competitiveness. As part of the CCAM Partnership, CulturalRoad actively contributes to Cluster 6: Societal aspects and user needs, a critical focus area to increase public acceptance and adoption of CCAM solutions and services.
The October 2024 Multicluster Meeting provided a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to exchange insights and results from ongoing projects and explore the impact on future initiatives. Our Project Coordinator, John Paddington from ERTICO, took part in a breakout session dedicated to Cluster 6, where he shared some first insights from CulturalRoad and exchanged knowledge with similar EU-funded projects, including Diversify-CCAM, CCAM-ERAS, MOVE2CCAM, and SINFONICA. Discussions focused on recommendations for large-scale demonstrations, the inclusion of user perspectives, the importance of public engagement, and the evaluation of large-scale demonstrations.
