The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is one of Germany’s leading universities for research and teaching in natural science and engineering. The chair of Transportation Systems Engineering (TSE) within TUM School of Engineering and Design focuses on performing transportation research surrounding aspects of modeling and simulation of transportation systems, implementation of data science, data analytics in transport, human factors analysis, multimodal and unimodal freight and passenger transport demand and supply modeling, allowing for contributions to the optimization, calibration, and validation of transport models.

The significant role of TSE in the CulturalRoad project will be to review the existing standards and pilots and analyze them to define the current status of CCAM readiness. Design the required surveys to identify the potential users and non-users of the CCAM and advise on the best policies to promote the adoption of CCAM in diverse cultural, geographical, and economic environments.
