DTU Management conducts excellent research at the intersection of management, technology and economics. We develop solutions in close cooperation with companies and public authorities. Our research aims at strengthening welfare, productivity and sustainability within the society. Within DTU, the Transportation Science Division focuses on improving mobility in relation to the three main challenges within this sector: 1) climate and environment; 2) traffic congestion; 3) traffic safety. We put numbers on traffic effects and economic and societal effects using statistical analyses of transport behaviour. We conduct public sector consultancy for the Ministry of Transport and Housing and collaborate with transport companies and government agencies.
DTU is the scientific coordinator for CulturalRoad and is involved in all Working Packages (WPs). DTU has a primary role in the research activities related to traffic psychology, participatory planning, and network design. DTU is also the leader for WP3, where the research proposed by the project is tested on the field.
