CARNET is an open hub for industrial and academic partners in the areas of automotive and mobility research and innovation. Based in Barcelona, it operates through project-based collaboration, focusing on innovative solutions that bridge the gap between academic research and industrial innovation in urban mobility. It is a joint venture between Volkswagen Group Innovation, SEAT S.A., and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Within the project, CARNET will be responsible for developing the methodology for the Two-Step co-creation framework (T1.4), as well as its application in the pilot in Barcelona at a regional level and its subsequent evaluation. Additionally, CARNET will handle the innovation management of the project, ensuring that the results are implemented to best meet market needs using currently available technologies with a mid-term vision. Moreover, CARNET will be responsible for the interface with the automotive/OEM industry.
