CulturalRoad will participate in the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, Europe’s flagship event on transport research, which will be held in Budapest from 18 to 21 May 2026. Co-organised by the European Commission alongside key transport organisations, the event will bring together expertise from Hungary, Europe, and beyond, focusing on innovation and transformation in transport under the theme ReGeneration in transport.
The conference is expected to attract over 3,000 participants, offering a platform to exchange views on pressing mobility challenges, recent research results, and future directions for the transport sector. TRA 2026 will foster dialogue and cooperation between European and international research and innovation communities.
CulturalRoad will present three papers during the event:
- “Accessibility as the Objective: An Equity-Focused Framework for CCAM Integration in Public Transport Networks” – Technical session 5 / Special session 4 on Automated mobility modeling and estimation (20 May, 14:00-15:30)
- “CulturalRoad: A Five-Pillar Framework for Equitable CCAM Implementation Across Europe” – poster session
- “Accounting for vulnerable users in Public Transport Optimization” – poster session
