CulturalRoad will participate in the 17th edition of the ITS European Congress, held in Istanbul from 27-29 April 2026.
The ITS Congress is the leading event for smart mobility and intelligent transport, bringing together industry, policy makers, researchers, academia, and public authorities to present practical solutions, new technologies, and emerging innovations. Through high-level debates, technical sessions, exhibitions, and live demonstrations, the Congress showcases how innovation is contributing to safer and more efficient everyday mobility.
Organised by CulturalRoad Coordinator ERTICO, the 2026 edition is expected to welcome more than 3,000 participants, feature over 100 sessions, and host around 140 exhibitors. This year’s theme is “Bridging Innovation: Integrated, safe and seamless mobility”.
CulturalRoad will be represented at the ERTICO stand (F12) throughout the event, where attendees can learn more about the project.
Together with the Diversify-CCAM and SINFONICA projects, CulturalRoad is organising a dedicated training session during the event on “Practically Considering Diversity and Inclusion for Future Automated Public Transport Services“. The session focuses on one of the most critical yet often overlooked aspects of future mobility: diversity and inclusion in automated public transport services. As automation transforms transport systems across Europe, ensuring these services are accessible, equitable, and user-centred is essential. Targeting public authorities, transport operators, and industry stakeholders, the training session will move beyond theory and provide practical guidance, real-world examples, and useful tools to support inclusive deployment.
